Date: Sunday, April 22
Time: 8:30 p.m. ET
Location: Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

For a while in the first half of Game 3, it looked the Cavaliers had figured things out. But then the Pacers, and Bojan Bogdanovic, erupted in the second half to hold on for a two-point victory and a 2-1 lead in the series. Now the Cavs will look to provide the counterpunch.

This promises to be an interesting series. The Cavaliers have struggled to play consistent basketball all season and this is the first time a LeBron James-led team has dropped the opening game of the opening series. The Pacers, on the other hand, have been one of the biggest surprises in the league. Led by Victor Oladipo, they shocked everybody with their prolific offense and high energy.

The Cavaliers win if they flip the switch. They've been an up-and-down team all season, but they finished the season with flashes of who they want to be come postseason time. Larry Nance Jr. gives them a lot of versatility off the bench and is a game-changer for them. However, none of this matters if they can't flip the switch and look like the team everybody expects them to be. That will depend on LeBron James.

The Pacers can win this series if the Cleveland's defense doesn't improve in the playoffs. The Cavs have been one of the NBA's worst defensive teams this season and ranks 29th in defensive efficiency. The Pacers have a fast-paced offense that can exploit the Cavs in a hurry. They're an average defensive team, though, so they'll need to outscore the Cavs to have a chance.

Watch Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks Live Stream NBA Playoffs 2018

Date: Sunday, April 22
Time: 1 p.m. ET
Location: Bradley Center -- Milwaukee, Wisconsin

The series shifted to Milwaukee on Friday, and it was just what the Bucks needed. The entire team came alive, blowing the Celtics out from the start to earn their first win of the series. They'll look to do the same thing in Sunday's Game 4, also in Milwaukee.

Finishing the season at 55-27, the Celtics claimed the No. 2 seed in the East despite a season filled with all sorts of injuries, including season-enders to Gordon Hayward and Kyrie Irving. As for the Bucks, they finished with a record of 44-38. It was a tumultuous season, filled with injuries and a coaching change, but they're back in the playoffs for a second straight season.

Last season's playoff results: The Celtics were eliminated in the Eastern Conference finals by the Cleveland Cavaliers; the Bucks were knocked out in the first round by the Toronto Raptors

Injury report: The Celtics' Gordon Hayward, Kyrie Irving and Daniel Theis are out for the season; Marcus Smart could be cleared by Apr. 27.

Boston Celtics projected starting lineup: G Terry Rozier; G Jaylen Brown; F Jayson Tatum; F Al Horford; C Aron Baynes

Milwaukee Bucks projected starting lineup: G Eric Bledsoe; G Tony Snell; F Khris Middleton; F Giannis Antetokounmpo; C John Henson

They're able to get enough offensive production. Even with the injuries, the Celtics have still been a strong defensive team, and there's little doubt that end of the floor will be a problem. But without Hayward and Irving -- as well as Smart, who is known more for his defense but is big on the offensive end too -- the Celtics are going to have trouble scoring points. If their youngsters are able to handle the increased pressure of the playoffs and put points on the board, they can win this series.

Giannis takes over and the Bucks' defense stifles the Celtics. The Greek Freak will be the most talented player on the floor, and the Bucks need him to play like it. There's no reason to expect him to play poorly, but the Bucks can't afford any off nights from their star in this series. In addition, they'll need their defense -- which has been bad at times this season -- to step up and stifle the shorthanded Celtics.

SportsLine projections
According to SportsLine data scientist Stephen Oh, the Celtics have an 87.4 percent chance to win the conference and a 21.4 percent chance of reaching the conference finals.

Watch Toronto Raptors vs Washington Wizards Live Stream NBA

Event details:
DATE: April 21, 2018
TIME: 00:00 UTC
VENUE: Capital One Arena, Washington, D.C. , USA

The Toronto Raptors finally snapped their losing streak in Game 1s with their victory over the weekend against the Washington Wizards. And now, for the first time in franchise history, they have a 2-0 series lead. The Raps came out on fire in Game 2, pouring in 44 points in the first quarter. At one point, the lead blossomed to over 20 points, but the Wizards kept battling. A fourth-quarter surge saw the Wizards cut the deficit to just five points, but the Raptors soon regained control, and pulled away for a 130-119 victory.
Now, the Wizards will have the tough task of trying to get back into the series as it shifts back to D.C. for Game 3. They did show some positive signs in their comeback attempt in the second half, but they'll need a better game from Bradley Beal, who scored just nine points in Game 2.

They just continue doing what they've done all season. The Raptors have been the best team in the East all season long. Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan have done their usual work and the bench has been spectacular. As long as they trust in what has gotten them here and don't revert to bad habits when things get tough, they should be fine.

The "Playoff Raptors" show up and John Wall plays like an All-Star. Toronto has had a habit in the past of no-showing in the playoffs. If Lowry and DeRozan aren't up to their usual best, and the Raptors' bench isn't ready for the moment, then the Wizards are talented enough to make this a series. But they'll need Wall to step up and play like the All-Star version of himself.

Watch Portland Trail Blazers vs New Orleans Pelicans Live Stream NBA

Date: Thursday, April 19
Time: 9 p.m. ET
Location: Smoothie King Center -- New Orleans, Louisiana.

The Pelicans have done it again. After stealing Game 1 on the road over the weekend, the Pelicans went and took Game 2 as well, winning both games in Portland to take a 2-0 series lead back to New Orleans. Jrue Holiday had a playoff career-high 33 points to lead the way, while Anthony Davis and Rajon Rondo were strong as well.
Now down 0-2, the Trail Blazers will have to try and answer the Pelicans and win two road games of their own. If they don't, they'll be in serious trouble. The first step will be getting some more efficient nights from Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, who were a combined 16-39 in Game 2.

Season series: Tied 2-2

Last season's playoff results: Trail Blazers eliminated by Golden State Warriors in Round 1 4-0; Pelicans' first appearance since 2015

Injury report: Blazers forward Maurice Harkless is doubtful for the start of the series after knee surgery. The Pelicans previously lost DeMarcus Cousins, Alexis Ajinca and Frank Jackson to season-ending injuries.

Blazers' projected starting lineup: G Damian Lillard; G CJ McCollum; F Evan Turner; F Al-Farouq Aminu; C Jusuf Nurkic

Pelicans' projected starting lineup: G Rajon Rondo; G Jrue Holiday; G/F E'Twaun Moore; F Nikola Mirotic; C Anthony Davis

First thing's first: You're not going to outright stop Anthony Davis. What you can do is harass him. If Nurkic can body Davis up and give him some problems, he can keep the Pelicans' offense out of rhythm, since it runs through a center. The last time Damian Lillard played the Pelicans, he put up 41 points. A fraction of that will keep the Blazers competitive against the Pelicans, but the Blazers will need to develop an inside presence to take on a large Pelicans team.

The Pelicans can win if they help Anthony Davis out. Last time these teams played, Davis put up 36 with 14 boards and six blocks. If Jrue Holiday and Rajon Rondo can at least limit Lillard and McCollum with their excellent defense, they can make this an extremely difficult match-up for Portland. All of that mixed with the shooting beyond the arc that players like Niko Mirotic and E'Twaun Moore have displayed down the stretch makes this team a tough out.

Watch Golden State Warriors vs San Antonio Spurs Live Streaming NBA

Who: Warriors vs. Spurs
What: Game 3, Western Conference, NBA Playoffs
When: Thursday, April 19, 2018
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio
Time: 9:30 p.m. Eastern.

The Spurs played well. They honestly did many things right. They led during the 3rd quarter. But the Warriors flipped their switch. It doesn’t matter that Golden State lost 10 of the their last 17 games in the regular season. Or that they’ve been banged up injuries all season. The Warriors are the Warriors for the reason and tonight was just one of the many examples why.

The Spurs punched the Warriors in the mouth to start the game but everything changed in the third quarter. Klay Thompson was a big reason for that, scoring 31 points, and hitting five three-pointers. Durant dropped 32 points of his own and emerged as a real leader in Game 2, something that is typically reserved for Steph Curry.

Teams that go up 2-0 in a best of seven series 273-19 all-time. It’s hard to see this one getting away from Golden State.
The Warriors turned into their old selves in the second half. Klay Thompson couldn’t miss. Kevin Durant was well ... Kevin Durant. They’re the defending World Champs for a reason. This one is an easy 2-0 lead for Golden State.
The Warriors cruised to an easy victory in Game 1 of their first-round series with the Spurs, and Game 2 wasn't much different. The Spurs played better, but it just didn't matter. Golden State is just far too talented, and eventually the play of Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson proved too much for San Antonio. KD finished with 32 points, six rebounds and six assists, while Thompson once again shot well, finishing with 31 points.
Now, as the series heads back to San Antonio, the question is: can the Spurs get back into the series? It's going to be tough, but they will be back at home, and they do have Gregg Popovich on the sidelines.

Watch Miami Heat vs Philadelphia 76ers Live Stream NBA

Date: Thursday, April 19
Time: 7 p.m. ET
Location: American Airlines Arena -- Miami, Florida
The Miami Heat were run off the floor in the second half of Game 1 of their first-round series against the Philadelphia 76ers, as the Sixers took Game 1 by 27 points. And after the first few minutes on Monday night, it looked like Game 2 would be more of the same. But Erik Spoelstra's squad regrouped, and used a huge second quarter to take control of the game. Dwyane Wade turned back the clock, pouring in 28 points, and coming up with multiple big plays down the stretch to put an end to the Sixers' comeback attempt.

When the final buzzer sounded, the Heat had a 113-103 victory. Now tied 1-1, the series shifts back to Miami for Game 3 on Thursday night. The big question, of course, is what will Joel Embiid's status be? The big man has cleared the concussion protocol, but it's still unclear if he'll be able to suit up by Thursday night. Obviously, adding him to the lineup would be a huge boost for the Sixers. Regardless of whether he plays or not, it will be interesting to see how the Sixers respond after facing adversity for the first time in over a month.

If the 76ers can carry their momentum from the regular season into the playoffs, then they're going to be a dangerous team in the playoffs. They finished the regular season on a 16 game win streak. Embiid, if healthy, and Simmons are one of the NBA's most dynamic duos. They have the third-best defense and fourth-best net rating in the NBA. They're an easy favorite.

The Heat haven't always been consistent, but their depth gives them a lot of versatility. Miami can gain an advantage if they control the pace, forcing Philadelphia to play slow, and use their bench as an advantage. A lot of teams shorten up their rotation in the playoffs. The Heat don't have to do that. They can adjust to whatever Philadelphia is running and counter that.

Dwyane Wade snuffed out one 76ers' rally by popping a 16-foot fadeaway with the shot clock ticking down. Wade made a halfhearted attempt at reaching his hand out toward a fallen defender before he scooted on his way.

The Heat had to have this one -- a brooding Joel Embiid is angling for a comeback.

Wade turned in a vintage performance, scoring 28 points to end the 76ers' 17-game winning streak and lead the Miami Heat to a 113-103 Game 2 win over Philadelphia on Monday night and even the first-round playoff series.

"It's just in my DNA," Wade said. "I love the stage."

The 36-year-old flashed the form of a three-time NBA champion with the Heat, not the journeyman who bounced around the last two seasons with forgettable stints in Chicago and Cleveland.

Wade made 11 of 17 shots and put on a show in the second quarter and put it away in the fourth.
"I saw moments," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. "That's what defines Dwyane Wade."
The 76ers could soon get their defining Process moment from Embiid.
